Written in contemporary verse, Water for Kings is a poetic tragedy about change. A power struggle within the Royal Family leads to disastrous consequences for the people of this mythic land.

Water For Kings deals with the divide between the majority Wet Zone dwellers and the minority Dry Zone dwellers, who are further marginalized by a deliberate restriction in terms of access to water. The play examines opposing ideals of equality, of how the ‘other’ within a populace is created and perpetuated.
